Nobu Hotel Opens in Shoreditch

The Nobu Hotel group have finally found their way to London, opening their first hotel in Britain in the ever-evoving Shoreditch area. Opened on 1st July, Nobu Hotel Shoreditch is set on Great Eastern Street, just back from the lively buzz of the surrounding area to allow for some shuteye.

The East-meets-West philosophy of Nobu is combined with the energy and buzz of the surrounding area to offer a perfect pitstop right in the heart of the City. Boasting 143 new guest bedrooms, 7 suites, meeting spaces, a lobby bar and a 240-seat restaurant with a sushi counter and courtyard this hotel is sure to get booked up quickly. For any Nobu-novicence who have not yet experienced the exquisite Japanese-fusion cuisine, we recommend trying the Yellowtail with Jalapeño or Black Cod Miso as well as Wood Oven Roasted Lobster with Hakaido Scallops, Cilantro Aioli and Ikura, an exclusive dish to Nobu Shoreditch.

An architectural masterpiece, the design for the Nobu Hotel Shoreditch was the result of a collective effort to create a seamless transition between the hotel and the restaurant, featuring overhanging floor slabs and cantilevered steel beams forming a frayed edge to the east, where a landscaped garden provides natural light into the restaurant.
