Competing horses will be racing for a generous prize of more than £6.5 million collectively.

Five things to do at Ascot 2017

Tuesday's Racing: watch the finest horses the Royal Monarchy has to offer on Tuesday, set to be the best day of races. The Queen Anne Stakes, named after the royal who had a keen eye for horses, has seen the likes of Black Caviar, Frankel and Yeats race on the hallowed turf.

Looks are everything: everyone knows that no detail is missed in a Ascot outfit. The strict dress code invites elegance and class, with fascinators, matching suits and ties and hats to be worn at all times in the Queen Anne and Village Enclosures. Who doesn't live an excuse to look their best?

A Royal feast: Michelin-starred chefs Raymond Blanc and Phil Howard are among the many providing a stunning choice of restaurants at the event, from vintage champagne to afternoon tea.

The Village Enclosure: Ascot's first new enclosure in over 100 years, The Village Enclosure is sure to be effortlessly chic and cool in the summer sun with a modern twist. Celebrating the best of British Summertime, boutique and alfresco dinner accompanied by cocktails and live music is on the menu, exclusively for three days only.

The fun never stops: the party doesn't ave to end thanks to The Villagers Club, situated right in the middle of the racecourse! Open until 9pm, an open barbecue with band andDj sets will finish off the evening perfectly. With tickets starting from £269, we recommend this as the perfect way to finish off a stately soiree.

Tickets are still available for all days of the Royal Meeting.
