Coachella Style Awards: Our Best-Dressed Winners
Not just any music festival, Coachella in the sunny Californian desert is renowned for its beautiful people and fashionable crowds. Forget about the music, our focus was on the fashion elite to set the festival trends for the coming year.
From the word go, Coachella 2017 didn't disappoint. Beginning with Kylie's yellow highlighter hair, everyone from the queen of festival style Vanessa Hudgens to Emily Ratajkowski adorned us with outfit inspiration. With acts including Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga, summer fashion officially began in style featuring fringing, sunnies and skin as expected from The Golden State.
As two weekends of the trendiest festival closes, we round up our favourite Coachella outfits- we are forecasting floaty, angelic whites and pretty detailing for our upcoming festival looks (possibly with a bit less glamour than these Instagram stars)...
Instagram's hottest babe, Em Rata looked flawless as always at the Moschino Party and Levi's Brunch with Poppy Delevingne. Showing off that midriff we all long for, Rataikowski wears a Emilia Wickstead cropped top, Garrett Leight sunnies, and Altuzarra heeled sandals (right) having customised her favourite Vintage 501s at the Levi's denim shop.
The former Miss Universe wowed by showing of her stunning bronzed legs in a thigh-high split maxi dress. Teaming the striped dress with embellished leather sliders, Culpo finished off this relaxed look with a box style bag (did she read out 'Perks of a Tiny Bag' post?!) This on-trend look is perfect to take you from festival to 5'0clocktails and back!
A frequent festival goer, Ambrosio added on-trend twists to classic festival detailing with a white studded fringed jacket and printed leotard. White appearing to be a key trend for this festival season, we love this fun, relaxed take by Ambrosio who got the opportunity to watch her daughter Anja sing at the festival accompanied by her Dad Jamie on guitar.
If you want the secret to making high-fashion wearable, take some style tips from this girl. Carrying on the white trend this festival season, Ferrangi mixed chic with festival fun to stun at Coachella in a ballerina-inspired Dior look. Wearing an elegant tulle skirt embellished with the brand's logo, offset with Chunky Balenciaga boots to give the look that pretty punk edge, finished with layered jewellery. One tough look, we'll be taking inspiration.
Keeping cool in the Californian heat, the American actress looked stunning and festival ready in a Palm Springs inspired look, showing us that hotpants and bikini tops can still look ultra stylish. And is showing some skin isn't your thing, Chung also provided mega inspiration in a pretty fringed two-piece set creating a polished look.
